The Real Soul Stone

Have you seen the Marvel Studios movie "Infinity War"?

In the movie, the Mad Titan Thanos battled The Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes, in his quest to gather all the 6 Infinity Stones to form an extremely powerful weapon called The Infinity Gauntlet-- with which he annihilated half of all living creatures in the entire universe with just a snap of his fingers.

If you haven't seen it yet, look it up.

It's a fun movie (and its sequel is good too).

Anyway, one of the 6 Infinity Stones is the Soul Stone.

Thanos acquired it by sacrificing his daughter, Gamora, in Vormir (the planet where the stone is hidden).

In the movie (and the comics too!), the Soul Stone is orange.

But if we were to be asked by the producers of the movie what color we'll choose for the Soul Stone, we'll definitely say it should be white.

In fact, we'll most probably suggest they use white sapphire as the Soul Stone.

Why?

Because in the world of gemstones, the white sapphire is the symbol of the soul.

The White Sapphire is the real Soul Stone!

And quite rightfully so!

When white sapphires are formed, they remain untouched and unspoiled by other minerals, while the admittedly more popular sapphire varieties-- such as blue, green, yellow, pink and orange-- get their color from the color of the minerals that are present during the crystallization process.

This explains why white sapphires have an icy white color.

And this also makes white sapphires the rarest of all sapphires-- since in nature it is difficult for natural materials to remain unspoiled and unchanged by interaction with other natural materials or the environment.

Honestly, we ask...what better color to symbolize a person's soul than white - signifying a soul that is clean, pure, honest, clear and unspoiled?

Compared to other more expensive precious stones, even the unpretentious price of white sapphires can be seen as a reflection of how one's soul should be - that it does not take money, wealth and riches to possess a pure soul...

...All it takes is knowing what you want and placing value over the things that truly matter - relationships, loyalty, fidelity, responsibility and prudence - virtues that are, surprisingly, also epitomized by Venus, the Roman goddess of beauty and love.

And guess what Venus's gem is?

In mythology, it was the White Sapphire.

So if you're looking for a 5th or 45th anniversary gift (white sapphires are, traditionally, the 5th and 45th anniversary gem)...

...If you're born in September, celebrating your anniversary in September, or shopping for a child, mother, sister or friend born in September (white sapphire is the September birthstone)...

...Or you're simply looking for diamond alternative that's a fraction of the price of a genuine diamond but is still a full-fledged precious gem stone, look no further than WhiteSapphire.com white sapphires...

...Untouched. Unspoiled. All precious.
